Current Life to Share.

                                                                                                                                            03/30/2010

My great grandchild, I would like to tell you my story and how good but tough it has been. It may not be full of excitment and at times lifeless, but I would like to tell you anyways. My current age is 16 years old, and the story is based on my sixteen years alive.
It all started when I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My birth date is Febuary 19, 1994. I was born to Margarita Chavira, she was a teen mother and new to the United States. My father I dont really like speaking of; I will explain. I dont remember any memories from when I was a baby, but two years later my little sister was born. Her name was Caroline, and we look nothing alike, well at least I thought we didnt. We grew up fighting like any other pair of sisters, who also liked playing outside in the mud all the time. I might not say "I love you" everyday, but I know she knows without me having to say it out loud.
My child hood was great! My teen years not so much. I grew up, matured, and started becoming my own leader. Ten years after they had my sister, my parents had another baby. His name was Miguel Jr. and I love him so much. He wasn't planned, and my parents were having problems when my mom got pregnant. They decided to stick it out for a couple more years, till my brother was a bit older. Everything was okay till a nightmare that I dont ever want to go through, and that I will NEVER forget occured. I was nearly 14 years old when, my mom became a physical abused victim, and my sister and I, the witnesses. I never thought that my dad would ever do that, but I was wrong; I doubt so many things in life and about people now.
Other things occured after that, and rest of my little family and I were never the same again. I had to give up tons of stuff; my home, but I still have my mom, my rebel of a sister and my currently four year old brother. My parents still have their differences till this day, and I know thats never going to change. Day by day everything gets better, but I still look at my friends who have both their parents and the old life that I use to have; I envy them. Am I all good though? My life may sound like a true disaster, but it wasn't all like that. I might not have made you feel excited to explore your history, I'm just sixteen. I see my future bright, and I will do something with my life, and you will be able to look back and feel proud of me. I will prove those wrong.
