STARFISH.

"Starfish, oh Starfish, little life that I hold in my hand.
I will help you, and be there in your time of need.
You are great and deserve a life as much as anyone does.
I will be there for you till the very end.
Starfish, oh starfish(J, Dianna)."

The moral of the story through my eyes is, that even though you cant help every single life out there, you can help so much by just doing something for someone. On my time I like to help people as much as I can. Yeah, I might only 16 years old, but that would most certainly not stop me from making a change in someones life. Everyone can help in their own special way.

There are lots of ways that I help people. One way for me is, every 2 months or 3 months I go and get a hair cut. My hair grows very rapidly and i don't like having long hair so i chop it all off to shoulder length. You might be wondering, "What does this have to do with helping others, right?" Well, I use to just go get it all my hair cut off, just throw away the chunk of hair into the trash can, and it was a done deal. My mom one day told me that, I could be doing something with my hair to help others, instead of just throwing it away. We researched, and found out that you can donate your hair to this organization that makes wigs and sends them to children that have cancer. Now every time I go and cut my long hair, I donate it. It may not be big deal to others but to me it means a lot. Making a child smile and brighten their day, makes my day.

That was one way. You don't have to save a persons life to feel like your helping out. Just one thought and action can help someone. Life's a long lesson and what ive learned is that its not to be taken for granted.
