The Great Debaters, was an amazing movie. It showed good points towards how the 1935's were. It was was based on three smart students trying to accomplish the impossible. They had a hard working teacher that encouraged them day by day. He never stop beliving in their soon to be success. The students showed a big difference to many people that never thought they could do it. I never thought that racism and discrimintation was that bad back in the day. They witnessed many horrible things on their journey, and I would say they almost gave up. These students showed that they can go to college with different types of race in their blood, and prove everyone that looked down wrong! They did accomplish what they were headed towards and made a difference in their lives.
